About

May you take a sip of gratitude
as often as you take a sip of water throughout your day.

I started my yoga practice in 2018. But yoga is much more than a series of poses. It’s about mindful movement.

I started my movement journey when I was much younger. I took gymnastics classes as a child and loved playing on the playground, specifically the monkey bars. As I got older, my movement became focused on playing basketball competitively in high school and college. I had three knee surgeries during my basketball days and have learned more about my body’s ability for movement from my recovery.

I hated yoga the first time I tried it. It was too slow and I didn’t want any part of it. It wasn’t until a years later that I reluctantly tried it again, and I loved it.

I received my 200hr teacher training from a studio in the Bay Area in early 2019 and a 300hr teacher training in 2020 deepen my knowledge and my practice.
